Yet another Regina Spektor song. I fear that she can do no wrong...well, maybe, but I haven't found it yet. :p

Last Florida picture. Alas! Alack! Flying home tomorrow. Went snorkeling once more today...it's always thoroughly exhausting so consider it a small miracle that I am still awake typing the usual strange note to attach to this photo...... . ... 

187/365 - we found love

Took today's pic off the balcony at sunset during the very last minutes of daylight. LOOK at that crazy cloud. It's kind of like a spaceship. Or something. I am not a huge fan of this song, but I love--LOVE, I say--Ingrid Michaelson's version. CLICKY.

We went on a snorkel tour today out in the middle of the ocean....which was interesting, but exhausting. I can't think of anything else to type here except for that fact that I am about to fall asleep on my keyboard. So, uh...goodnight and all that jazz.

186/365 - it's time

So tired. Went to the beach and this pier thing (where I took the above pic). But about to go swimming despite said exhaustion. WOO.

185/365 - open

Oh I do love this song. Regina Spektor is some sort of musical goddess as far as I'm concerned.

We went to the LAUNDROMAT this morning to wash our nasty clothes and I took some pictures while we were waiting for the dryer to finish. Spent the rest of the day by the pool/ being generally lazy. I love being on vacation, lol. :)

184/365 - the creatures

Taken at the Hemingway House in Key West, Florida...which was was actually quite an interesting place, even though I didn't like the one Hemingway book I read (The Old Man and the Sea...What is a bone spur anyway?). There were polydactyl cats (google image that, seriously-- they have THUMBS) and much lovely scenery/ gardens. Key West on the whole was a place that didn't make a lot of sense. There were wild chickens and rampant tourists, strange places and crazy weather...also the southern-most point in the U.S. Also, also, I am extremely tired and am not sure that anything I'm typing is making any sense whatsoever....

183/365 - full of dreams

First Florida picture yeaaahhh. Haha. Even though it's been rainy/ windy/ mostly cloudy since we got here, we're managing to have a pretty good time. Went snorkeling today....saw a ship wreck and some fishes...then went for a swim in the pool at the condo in which we are staying. SO MUCH WATER. I am positively waterlogged after taking a shower, so that all I can do is sit here and let the vortex of the interwebs suck me in whilst staring out the window in fornt of me at the loverly view of the ocean. ... So there's that. :p

HOLY @(*$&#@(* I AM SO BAD AT THIS 365 BIZNESS ANYMORE.

Ahem. Anyway. I have indeed been sadly remiss about my project this week...because I had to work a lot and that makes me exhausted. Also, working weird hours + living life in the ones that are left leaves literally no time for photography. Next week, however, I will be in FLORIDA (wtf I haven't started packing yet I can't even) so hopefully there will be something interesting happening around these parts then.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go wallow in a puddle of my own shame and guilt. \kthxbye

Went swimming for the first time this year today. Very exhausted, but it's all good. :)

Unedited, minus the text. A very lovely sunset this evening...during which I was quite lucky to take pictures in the fields around my grandparents' farm. I just loved these colors already, so I left them as is. Walked about 4 miles in my workout today + helped clean up around the grandparents' pool so I am kind of exhausted........*hits publish button* *collapses*

None of the shots I tried worked out today, so you are getting an outtake shot of the woods behind my house that I completely photoshopped the hell out of. :P Work was...worky today haha. Now I'm tired and unable to do anything but watch Master Chef and eat popcorn. These are my problems.

Went on a hike through the woods in the nature preserve again today...saw a deer that wasn't afraid of humans and it let me touch it. It sniffed my hand and then walked off into the woods. It was weird. O_O

Hopefully I will get to take some pics this week....we shall see....

Helped clean out my grandparents pool today which involved a lot of pressure washing and exhausting-type work. Took this pic out in the field beside their pond whilst walking the dog and I am quite enamored with it. Especially that quote. <3

OK. Now I must go sit down and do something non-labor-intensive because I'm so freakin' tired. *passes out on keyboard*

169/365 - read them fairytales

Not particularly proud of this, but whatever. 

I haven't had time to work out lately for some reason and I don't know why but I wish I did because I always feel so much better when I work out. I never regret working out, but I always regret it when I don't. 

Saw lots of friends this weekend and now I'm tired. Sitting here listening to angsty songs and plotting a book idea, wishing I'd worked out this morning. Maybe I'll have time to tomorrow before work at ten? Who knows. In other news, my problems are petty. :P

I'm actually quite proud of this. HA.

I didn't have work or anything today...so I've just been kind of hanging about doing nothing. Stopped by my grandparent's farm with my parents and took this photo, which -- as with most of the bokeh pics I take, it seems -- was entirely a mistake. I'm just in love with it.

Now I'm going to go clean the bathroom and if I survive that, I'll go read my eyeballs out. \the life.
