304/365 - trees are their roots

Another section from the poem "Dive For Dreams" by e.e. cummings. I think it's lovely...and I think the phrase "trees are their roots" can apply to people, too. Anywho. A short Sunday (it seemed) in which I ran errands with the parents and worked on a little spot of homework. Drinking hot chocolate now, working on Secret Writing Project and listening to music instead of doing my mountain of homework. The usual. :)

Currently Listening: "Prehistoric" -- Now, Now. Because I would trade this sleep for you is an awesome freakin' lyric. It speaks to me.

292/365 - the sun in my mouth

Argh. Missed yesterday. Really stressed with all of these essays due next week. I've only half-planned 3 of the 4, and written half of 1 of them. And what the hell even was that sentence? It made sense in my head, but then I wrote it down and it looked all jacked up. I don't know anymore.  >.<
I'm so freaking stressed arghalksjdfl;kjasdl;kfasdf.

284/365 - past & future

It feels like forever since I've actually posted a new pic. :x
Feeling slightly disheartened by this project, but am persevering nonetheless.
I have two days off next week (Monday + Tuesday for a rather crappy fall break, but hey, I'll take it where I can get it). Work tomorrow and then complete and thorough vacation begins.
The leaves are just starting to change colors and it is revoltingly pretty driving around town now.
I love this time of year.

280/365 - dive for dreams

Fridayyyy I love youuu. Except...I don't like the fact that I have to work on essays and homework and real work for most of the weekend. Bluck. BUT I have Sunday off and am going to St. James Art Fair, so hopefully something more interesting than bokeh or trees will be happening around here then. :P

170/365 - keeping the stars apart

Outtake from theotherday, but I kinda enjoy it. Today was meh...I don't know. I'm very sleepy so I'm going to go read and such before bedtime. Blargh.

163/365 - lovers & sunlight

See that sun flare right there in the middle? That's all natural, baby. >:) I'm so proud of it...it's kind of ridiculous. I seriously can't think of anything else to say...how can that be?!? Oh, yeah, because my brain had been reduced to vegetable state due to all the work I've done the last three weeks for school. IT IS ALMOST OVER. I just have to write one more essay and then it is over. I am very pleased about that. The being over part, I mean. Not the essay. I want to punch the essay in the FACE.

149/365 - birds & stars

This is rather lame and also a picture I took the other day because a). I had a very busy morning and then b). a very busy afternoon wherein my summer class decided to EAT MY LIFE ALIVE. I'm still not through with all the reading, which I will have to continue tomorrow morning. Damn. I would add something more interesting here, but as all I've done in the past two days revolves around school, alas-- I have nothing more interesting to say. Except that the piece we're reading now about the Congo involves the severing of hands. Which, hello, nightmares! Thank you, Mr. Doyle. Thank you.

99/365 - yourself & somebody else

I should totally be finishing packing right now. Just popping in for a quick one before we leave for Indiana. Eeep.

The fog was loverly this morning. I stared at it daydreaming for a long time while drinking my morning cup of tea.

98/365 - earth & flowers

It started thunderstorming/hailing not even 5 minutes after I came inside from taking pictures.

Ahhh spring. Flowers. Pollen. Thunderstorms. Perfect weather. The smell of my dog's smelly armpits filling up the house. Er, bad visual, sorry. Anywho. I'll be on hiatus this weekend -- I have to go to Indiana for my grandfather's memorial service and will be sans internet on Friday, Saturday and most of Sunday. :(
