365/365 - the end

Well. Here we are. The end. I've probably written this part in my head a thousand times...how surreal is it to actually write it now?

This project was difficult. There were times I wanted to quit, but that stubborn part of me wouldn't let it go without following through. It obviously took me more than 365 days to do this, but I think the important thing is that I FINISHED. I said I was going to do something, and I did it. And to me, that means something. A lot of something, actually.

I learned so much about myself through this project--not only as an artist, but as a human being. This was a creative odyssey and I have grown and changed in ways I can't even fathom.

So this is...the end. (Leave it to the Beatles to say it best.)

364/365 - to make music that will melt the stars

Cold day. First day of classes....I only had one to go to, and after going, I'm not sure why I even bothered. It was Spanish 102, and, like Spanish 101, it is going to be a complete and utter WASTE of my time. So, uh...yeah. O_o There's that.

Still can't believe it is 2 days into 2013. WHAT CANNOT HANDLE. Although I think 2013 should be a pretty kick-a** year. Not to jinx it or anything, but..... :p

360/365 - dreams & paintings

Snowsnowsnow. Boring day. Tired. New Year's Eve. Will probably fall asleep before the ball drops, as per usual. lolol.

359/365 - jumping trains

Boring day. Went to work. Came home. Finished a book. Painted my nails gray. Blahblahblah. Last week of freedom and then SCHOOL FREAKING SCHOOL OMGPANICFACEWHATAHH. Uh...so...yeah.

358/365 - rapt with frost

It snowed about 3 or 4 inches last night. Woke up to this (disgusting) winter wonderland kind of thing going on outside. You know, snow on the tree branches, covering everything, etc. etc. Revoltingly pretty to look at, horrible to deal with. Somehow mustered up enough courage to go outside in it and take some more pictures. 

356/365 - to go insane

Slow morning and then work. It started snowing and I had to drive home in a blizzard. I couldn't see anything-- there was snow covering the road and coming down in huge, mushy flakes. Grossssss.

356/365 - undivided tenderness

It snowed. A lot. So, naturally, I had to trek outside in my long underwear, parka, and fleece pajama pants and take pictures. Now I'm frozen. Drinking hot chocolate and reading and generally having great laziness. :)

355/365 - flaws

Boring day. It snowed/sleeted all day. Yuck. Am now spending the evening relaxing...reading. Yay vacation. :)

Random thing.

Lovely, lazy day spent wrapping presents, sitting by the fireplace, and being with family. It's starting to feel like Christmas....

SO GLAD it is finally the weekend. Have a few days off and big plans to be properly lazy and eat a lot of food. Christmas is just an excuse to eat all the time for, like, a month. 

349/365 - the cold of winter

Today's quote is quite appropriate as it is getting cold as crap outside. It rained so hard this morning I had to paddle to work, and I called my car a Toyoat because it was being used more like a boat than a car. It was so windy that my car was wavering all over my lane on the way home.  And it may or may not snow tomorrow. The hell? It might actually be the apocalypse.

Another long day at work....so tired. Glad for a few hours to just sit on the couch and not think/do anything, etc. :P

347/364 - truth

Went out with J today to see the last Twilight movie. It was just as laughable as the rest. :p 

I have to get up early tomorrow for more a haircut appointment, and then work. Meh.

Today is yet another gloriously lazy day. Work later, but that's all I have planned. Delightful. :p
