113/365 - illusions

There's this landscaping business about 5 minutes from my house called Moonscape. I drive by it literally everyday and have always thought it would be a good place to take pictures. There's this old house that's practically about to fall down but has been converted into some sort of a shop on the front of the property (pictured above), lots of land, and all that's left of a greenhouse (it's just the metal framing and the doors...creepy looking).

Today I finally had the pleasure of taking pictures there! Very, very pleased with the results. This was one of my immediate favorites, though it was hard to pick just one for today's photo. :)

The words are from a new favorite poem called Illusions by Ralph Waldo Emerson. I am helplessly in love with the line "fleeing to fables" and I don't know why.

Disclaimer: I should totally be doing my homework, not doing photography shizz. However, I am a pro at productive procrastination. I'm also baking cookies right now. :P
